What Would Change

Today, the Environmental Protection Agency has a rule that would allow some large industrial facilities to be reclassified as smaller ones under the Clean Air Act. If this bill passes, that rule would be stopped. This means those large industrial facilities would continue to be regulated under the stricter 'major source' rules. The reclassification would not happen.
