Right now, a rule stops some veterans from getting help from both VA job training and VA education programs at the same time. This bill would remove that rule. This means more veterans could get support for both their education and job readiness needs without having to choose one over the other.

This bill would make sure Medicaid pays for advanced genetic tests, called whole genome and whole exome sequencing, for children with suspected genetic problems or rare diseases. This means families wouldn't have to worry about the cost of these important diagnostic tools, helping kids get faster answers and more targeted care. These changes would take effect starting January 1, 2027.

This bill would create a new visa category specifically for relatives of U.S. citizens and permanent residents to visit temporarily for family reasons. It would allow a wider range of relatives to visit for up to 90 days per year, but they would need a U.S. sponsor and medical insurance. These visitors could not easily change their visa status to stay permanently.

Federal immigration enforcement personnel would face new rules on how they use force, identify themselves, and what equipment they can use. This bill would also require them to wear body cameras and use dashboard cameras in vehicles. These changes aim to increase accountability and transparency for the public and those involved in immigration enforcement actions.
