Right now, a rule stops some veterans from getting help from both VA job training and VA education programs at the same time. This bill would remove that rule. This means more veterans could get support for both their education and job readiness needs without having to choose one over the other.

This bill would make sure Medicaid pays for advanced genetic tests, called whole genome and whole exome sequencing, for children with suspected genetic problems or rare diseases. This means families wouldn't have to worry about the cost of these important diagnostic tools, helping kids get faster answers and more targeted care. These changes would take effect starting January 1, 2027.
