This bill, called the "Protect Domestic Oil and Gas Small Business Act of 2026," would stop certain federal clean air rules from applying to small oil and natural gas wells, known as "marginal wells." It would also end any ongoing legal actions against these wells for those specific rules. This means owners of these smaller wells would have fewer environmental requirements to follow, and states would have more flexibility in their own plans.

This bill would create a way for mobile phone companies to voluntarily send emergency alerts to their customers using satellites. If companies choose to do this, they would need to follow new rules set by the government. They would also need to let customers opt out of these satellite alerts. This could mean more reliable alerts, especially in areas where traditional cell service is weak.

This bill would let states opt out of some federal health insurance rules, like those from the Affordable Care Act. Instead, people in those states would get federal funds for health costs deposited into new 'Trump Health Freedom Accounts.' However, these accounts couldn't pay for certain services.
