This resolution expresses the Senate's view that protecting women and girls in Haiti is vital for the country's stability. It would condemn current violence and exclusion of women in Haiti and call for urgent steps to ensure their safety and leadership. The resolution also condemns U.S. agencies for cutting programs that support women's security and resolves to rebuild them.

Veterans and their caregivers would get free opioid overdose rescue medications, like naloxone, from VA pharmacies without needing a prescription. This bill aims to prevent overdose deaths by making these life-saving drugs easily accessible, while also protecting personal information collected by the VA.

This bill would stop health plans from charging co-pays or deductibles for in-network mental health and substance use services for pregnant individuals and new parents for up to one year after pregnancy. This increase aims to help federal prisons hire and keep staff, and would count for all pay purposes, like overtime and retirement. The pay raises would last for five years, with a chance to become permanent if staffing issues improve.

This bill would stop the U.S. military and State Department from using money to take control of land belonging to a NATO ally. It would make sure the U.S. can't blockade, occupy, or annex a NATO country's territory without their permission or NATO's approval. This aims to keep the alliance strong and prevent conflicts with our partners.

This bill would make sure doctors get regular, updated information on how to treat health problems caused by PFAS chemicals. It would require a federal agency to work with experts to assess PFAS effects and share guidance with healthcare providers and public health groups. This means people exposed to these PFAS chemicals could get more informed care.

This bill would restart US funding for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). UNFPA helps provide health and family planning services worldwide. The US stopped funding UNFPA in 2025. This cut important services for millions of women and girls globally. If passed, this bill would set aside $74 million for UNFPA for 2026 and 2027. This would help people get care again.

This bill would stop job cuts and hiring freezes for certain lab workers at the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). These positions would be exempt from reductions caused by budget cuts, changes in funding, or probationary status. This would apply to forensic chemists, fingerprint specialists, and other lab staff.
