This bill would help military reservists get paid back for rental car costs. If they travel more than 150 miles from home for part-time training or Ready Reserve duty, they would get money back for their rental car expenses. This fixes a problem where current rules generally do not cover these costs.

This bill would create a new federal program to help communities near land border crossings. State, Tribal, and local governments, plus non-profit utilities, could get grants to fix local infrastructure like roads, water, and utilities. This means better services and less traffic for people living and working near these busy areas.

This bill would let more U.S. Border Patrol agents get special overtime pay. Currently, only agents at grade GS-12 are eligible for this pay. If passed, agents from grade GS-12 through GS-15 would be able to receive it.
