This bill would change how the government classifies certain complex medicines, called biologics. It would stop the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) from reclassifying a biologic as a "biological product" just because it contains a protein that doesn't have any medical effect. This change is intended to help patients keep access to these medicines under their current rules and potentially prevent price changes or market issues.
