This bill would make it easier for people with ALS to get the specialized care they need by adding new services to Medicare coverage. It would also create a new payment system for clinics that treat ALS, helping them offer better care without patients paying extra. These changes would start on January 1, 2027.

The House of Representatives would formally thank and promote Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for their more than 150 years of service. This would encourage patients, hospitals, and policymakers to better use CRNAs, who provide over 58.5 million anesthetics each year. It also supports recognizing their work during National CRNA Week.

It would require device makers to send electronic recall notices and ensure patients are informed about risks for certain devices through health professionals, unlike today where patient notification isn't always mandated. A new public database would also list all recall information.

The U.S. House would formally condemn Iran's ongoing persecution of the Baha'i religious minority. It would ask Iran to stop unfair practices, release religious prisoners, and end hate propaganda. It also urges the President and Secretary of State to use existing powers to sanction Iranian officials who abuse human rights.
