Key Provisions

• Requires the Department of the Interior to review federal permitting processes for stone, sand, and gravel projects on federal lands.
• Mandates a public report on these permitting processes, including recommendations to make them more efficient, within 180 days of the bill becoming law.
• Allows Tony's Wabeno Redi-Mix, LLC to buy about 14 acres of federal land in Wisconsin's Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest.
• Requires Tony's Wabeno Redi-Mix, LLC to pay the land's market value and all costs related to the sale, including appraisals and surveys.
• Requires the Secretary of Agriculture to complete an appraisal of the land within 300 days of the bill becoming law.
