Washington D.C. currently has its own set of rules for federal funding that supports wildlife and sport fish restoration programs. Currently, commercial filmmaking and photography are restricted on the U.S. Capitol Grounds. This bill would allow the Chief of the United States Capitol Police to issue permits for these activities outside of Capitol Buildings. This would only happen when Congress is not in session, and those getting permits would pay a fee.

This bill would give anti-discrimination protections to non-judge staff of D.C. courts and employees of the D.C. Public Defender Service. It would add them to the D.C. Human Rights Act.
