• The Architect of the Capitol would bury the time capsule on the West Lawn of the Capitol by July 4th, 2026.
• The time capsule would remain sealed until July 4th, 2276, when the Speaker of the House would present it to the 244th Congress.
• The 244th Congress would decide how to preserve or use the items inside the capsule.
